Upcoming Webinar: Understanding Federal Healthcare Changes, Health Coverage Options, and Respiratory Illness Prevention in Massachusetts
We invite you to join the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, MassHealth, and the Massachusetts Health Connector for an upcoming webinar:
Understanding Federal Healthcare Changes, Health Coverage Options, and Respiratory Illness Prevention in Massachusetts
Date: November 2, 2026
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Changes at the federal level are affecting health coverage and eligibility requirements for some Massachusetts residents. As these changes take effect, it is important that residents and the organizations that support them have clear, reliable information about maintaining coverage, understanding available options, and accessing preventive care.
During this webinar, representatives from MassHealth, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and the Department of Public Health will discuss:
-
- Upcoming changes that may affect some MassHealth and Health Connector members
- How MassHealth and the Health Connector work together
- Steps residents can take to help avoid gaps in health insurance coverage
- Coverage options and resources for residents who are uninsured or transitioning between coverage
- Access to recommended vaccines and respiratory illness prevention services for uninsured residents
- Reliable resources and assistance available to residents and community organizations
Have questions? The webinar will include a Q&A session with representatives from all three agencies. You can submit your questions in advance when you register.
We especially encourage community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, health care providers, community health workers, navigators, outreach staff, and other trusted community partners to attend.
Please note that this webinar will not be recorded, so we encourage participants to attend the live session.
Please feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues and networks.
