Enhancements to MassHealth Health Plan Enrollment Form

On October 31, 2019, the MassHealth online enrollment form will be updated with several new enhancements to improve the member health plan enrollment experience. MassHealth members that are eligible to enroll in a MassHealth health plan may still do so online, by phone, or by mail or fax. The MassHealth online enrollment form which can be found at will include the following enhancements:

  • Improve member validation and eligibility status;
  • Provide Robust functionality to accommodate members in Fixed Enrollment Period (FEP) or in Plan Selection Period (PSP);
  • Improve logic for Service Area Exceptions (SAE);
  • Automate Primary Care Provider search functionality for Primary Care ACOs and the Primary Care Clinician (PCC) Plan;
  • Provide additional linking to Compare Plans on MassHealth Choices;
  • Provide a printable summary page with tracking numbers and effective dates timeframes;
  • Implement a required attestation;
  • Streamline the look and feel of the form (accordion sections) and;
  • Improve back-end processing.

Please note no changes have been made to the telephonic or paper enrollment process at this time and members can continue to utilize these methods to complete enrollment forms.
